This course has been written for the Community Ownership Support Service (COSS) to give a practical overview of facilities management.
This practical and engaging 2-day course is aimed at anyone wishing to gain a better understanding of facilities management. For anyone working in an operational role with facilities management responsibilities, the course will provide guidance, resources, tools and tips to help them in their roles.

- The role of facilities management
- Facilities management strategy
- Managing buildings
- Financial management
- Service improvement
- Service delivery
Areas covered on day 2 includes:
- Health & Safety
- Contract Management
- Managing Projects and Change
- Customer Service
- There will be group discussion, individual exercises and group exercises and plenty of
- opportunities to ask questions and share experiences.
The course is delivered by Beth Goodyear from FHMS Consulting.
Upon completion of the course you will receive a certificate confirming your attendance and the modules taken.
The cost for attendance is £50 per place.
