Aims of the day
 
To introduce a range of ways to incorporate arts, media and events as sources of income. Using case studies from a selection of projects from across Scotland, the workshop aims to inspire and give practical guidance on the steps needed to implement these ideas in your own context.
 
Suitable For
 
Groups who are exploring alternative sources of income generation and looking for creative ways to involve the community, with a focus on the arts. The workshop is aimed at people who are running an asset or programming community events.

Developing a locality based arts programme

13:30 – Workshops – 2x 40 minute workshops sessions:
– Deveron Arts – how to set up and run a community based cinema.
– Nairn Community and Arts Centre – building and facilities tour.
