The Community Empowerment (Scotland) Act 2015 – which strengthens communities’ voices in decisions and empowers them through ownership of assets – presents a range of new opportunities and responsibilities for public bodies and Community Planning Partners.
Aimed at organisations that participate in Community Planning Partnerships, this workshop will give you the opportunity to examine some of these opportunities and responsibilities, particularly in relation to Part 2 – Local Outcome Improvement Plans, Part 4 – Community Right to Buy Land and Part 5 – Asset Transfer Requests.
Book your free place and come along to hear from policy-makers, the Community Ownership Support Service and from inspirational communities who have already secured assets and are delivering significant community benefits.
