An introduction to Community Asset Transfer and aspects of eligibility and governance
This course is targeted at Third Sector Interface organisations in Scotland and will provide a detailed overview of the legislation governing AT and the AT process, with general timelines and important notices.
Areas covered include:
- The review and appeals process.
- Lease versus Ownership concerns.
- Available funding avenues.
- Guidance on how to engage with community groups interested in or currently undergoing an AT.
- Who is eligible to undergo an AT.
- Overview of common and less common community group governance structures.
The webinar will take place on Zoom from 10am to 12:30 pm and will include two Q&A sessions, interactive group discussions, practical case study examples and a coffee break.
